While Hulk Hogan might be one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE, but he didn’t enjoy the same success on the big screen. After his bombastic debut in Rocky III as Thunderlips, the Hulkster tried to venture out more in the movie industry. But he failed to get many projects that made use of his charisma and mic skills.

Unlike wrestlers who came after his time, like Dwayne Johnson and John Cena, his Hollywood career never took off. He was forced to seek fame and money from his old gig as a wrestler. But this second run in wrestling would give us some amazing matches as well.

One of these amazing matches was none other than the WrestleMania main event, Dwayne Johnson and Hollywood Hogan. It is one of the most iconic main events, as Johnson would have the same sort of storyline more than a decade later with John Cena.

However, in defense of Hogan’s acting career, renowned action hero Sylvester Stallone backed his skills in front of a camera. In an Instagram post, he mentioned how Hogan was a real athlete and did his job in Rocky III perfectly.

Being his eternal rival, The Iron Sheik regularly roasted Hulk Hogan on Twitter, but this time, it was different. Not only did he roast the Hulkster’s acting career, but WWE fans wholeheartedly agreed with him.

 

Well, it is true that Hogan didn’t win any Oscars for his work in Rocky III or any other movie.

Unlike Dwayne Johnson and John Cena, Hogan wasn’t fortunate enough to get the best projects in Hollywood. And sadly, Hogan’s career in the movies is one that the wrestling industry can happily forget.

Not only were Hogan’s movies bad, but they were some of his TV shows probably did more damage than good to his acting career.

Well, fans do seem to agree with the Iron Sheik and that’s that.
