Dominik Mysterio’s attitude is getting out of hand day by day. Though the young star is breaking through the ranks to emerge as a solid player, it’s still not good to see him mock and ridicule legends. While one might even excuse him for what he did to others, it’s his disrespect to his father, Rey Mysterio, that has irked many. And it looks like he isn’t stopping soon.

Once again insulting his father’s legacy, Dominik recently tore the sacred Lucha mask traditionally worn by the Hall of Famer usually, at a recent house show.

However, countless superstars have mocked him by ripping away his mask in his storied career. But this time it’s more personal since it’s being done by none other than his son. Recently WWE went to Fresno, CA for a House show. 

WWE scheduled The Judgement Day member to face Cody Rhodes in a non-title street fight. However, this pitiful instance occurred before the match, during the young star’s entrance.

A fan from the crowd threw the mask at the champ. Though that act wasn’t noble in itself, other fans still expected the superstar to maintain his conduct and respect the mask. Instead, he shredded the luchador mask, much to the agony of everyone else.

Luckily, if there is any redemption, Rhodes defeated Dominik Mysterio in their match, teaching the young kid a massive lesson. But this isn’t the first time ‘Dirty Dom’ has disrespected his father.

The sad downfall of the father-son bond

Last year, the North American Champion shocked the world when he turned on his father and Edge at Clash of Castle 2022.

Despite his father trying to convince him, Dominik would have none of that and would constantly attack and disrespect his father. This eventually led the master of 619 to finally drill some sense into him when he beat his son at WrestleMania 39 in front of millions.

However, he still didn’t understand. Fast forward now. The rivalry between them is so hostile that Rey even predicted and hoped for Dragon Lee of NXT to dethrone Dominik Mysterio and teach the brat a lesson. Unfortunately for Rey, recently Dom shut down his hopes by beating Lee cleanly on Raw.
