Dominik Mysterio’s “Reputation” Landed Him in Trouble With Triple H and Vince McMahon Despite Their 20-Year-Old Bond

Dominik Mysterio, the current favorite of the WWE universe, got himself into trouble recently. This time it’s his punctuality issue that made him be shouted at by WWE officials. 

The moment Dominik Mysterio stepped inside WWE, everyone already knew him. His father Rey Mysterio is a big name in the industry.

And it gave Dominik both the upper hand and some disadvantages as well. WWE fans always tend to compare Dominik with his father, which didn’t result in his favor. 

Dominic Mysterio started his WWE career in March 2019. Initially, he was a face and fought along with his father. He also won the tag team titles, but still, fans were calling him boring.

But the moment he turned heel by attacking his father Rey and WWE legend Edge, things started to go uphill. People started loving this new Dominik Mysterio.

He joined The Judgement Day, and the team started conquering the tag-team division.

Recently Dominik got arrested as a part of the storyline that includes his father and Rhea Ripley. Benign a Starkid means everyone must have adored him backstage in WWE.

But that is not the case. WWE chairman Vincent Kennedy McMahon and chief content officer Triple H, who have seen him grow, have a special bond with Dominik Mysterio. However, this didn’t save Dominik from being scolded when he made the mistake of missing flights multiple times. 

Dominik Mysterio landed in trouble

Recently, Dominik Mysterio appeared on the latest episode of the K100 podcast. He talked about several things, including the current storyline, his new gimmick, and his relationship with Vince McMahon and Triple H.

During the podcast, a segment came when the host asked Dominik whether he got scolded backstage. To this Dom said:

“Umm….I don’t think so but they have gotten on me because I’ve gotten a reputation of missing some flights.”

To his defence, Dom sarcastically added that everyone needs time to look good. 

WWE Universe is showering love on Dominik Mysterio because of his new attire. We can clearly see him evolving under the influence of Triple H.

But in terms of punctuality, he has to fix some things. Moreover, Dominik is being booked in RAW in a very specific way that creatives can’t manage if he didn’t show up. And that’s the probable reason behind him getting scolded. 

For now, The Judgement Day has won a shot for The Usos’ raw tag team titles. It will be interesting to see the clash between The Judgement Day and The Bloodline.
