“Don’t Let Them Disrespect You”: Fans Rally Behind Becky Lynch After She Confronts WWE Employees Backstage for Alleged Mistake

Becky Lynch returned to in-ring action after being absent for nearly a month. Her return drove home the point that she was not missing, putting an end to taunts by friend-turned-foe Trish Stratus. The 47-year-old was on the receiving end on RAW as The Man paid her back in full for backstabbing her nearly a month ago. The return would have been perfect, if not for a small, alleged error from the production. Lynch was quick to confront those in charge, garnering praise from fans.

The 36-year-old sneaked up on Trish Stratus and hit her with a ‘Becksploder’ suplex, evicting the latter from the ring. Lynch picked up the mic and was about to cut a promo, but she was cut short as the production moved to another segment. In a video shared by the Irish wrestler, she showed her interaction with the WWE production crew following the alleged botch.

Lynch walked up to the group and questioned who cut her, to which a group of men pointed to another official sitting in front of the console. She questioned the man and appeared to pacify him after his apologies before knocking him out with a swift blow. Becky Lynch stormed off the spot soon after. Meanwhile, fans appeared supportive of her actions on Instagram

This person was put off by the disrespect shown to Becky Lynch and said such behavior shouldn’t be condoned.

“don’t let them disrespect you,” the person said.

Another questioned the production crew’s lack of knowledge and said, “Does the dude not know that The Man loves to talk and The Masses love to hear her speak.”

A user said it was a lesson for the person. “Life lesson learned, never cut the mans entrance theme,” the user commented.

Several users called her the greatest of all time while cheering her actions.

“Get em goat 🔥.”

“Never cut off the man🐐.”

“No disrespect to the Goat 🔥.” 

Even though Lynch couldn’t cut a promo, she made her point clear to her opponent- She isn’t missing.

What’s next in the chapter for Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus?

Before Monday’s brief encounter, Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch’s last meeting took place on April 10. The 7x WWE Women’s Champion devised a cunning plan to strip Lynch of her Women’s Tag Team Championship by purposely losing to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Stratus then attacked Lynch and turned heel for the first time since 2005.

While The Man remained out of action for close to a month, her opponent used up every opportunity to be mean. She even printed posters and T-shirts depicting the message Becky Lynch missing with a photo of the 36-year-old superstar.

On Monday, Stratus even dragged Lynch’s two-year-old daughter into her feud and had harsh words for her while cutting a promo.

The action was followed by a reaction almost immediately.

Becky Lynch’s latest attack has revived the rivalry which is set to continue as the two parties have been drafted to Raw during the recent WWE Draft.

While nothing has been confirmed so far, Lynch and Stratus might end up facing each other at WWE Night of Champions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on May 27. If announced, this will be Stratus’ first singles match after almost four years.
