“Don’t Threaten Me”: Dwayne Johnson Answers Uncomfortable Question on His DCEU Future

Black Adam vs Superman, the debate of who will win between them is a popular question among DC fans. Dwayne Johnson, who will play Black Adam in the upcoming DC movie, recently appeared at the comic con to meet the fans who are eager to watch it.

A fan asked Johnson a question about who would win between Black Adam and Superman if they have a fight. Surprisingly, The Jumanji actor may have given a spoiler about the appearance of Superman in the film.

Host Brandon Davis shared the video on his Twitter, in which Dwayne Johnson addresses the question. Davis, in the tweet, also emphasized Superman, like what The Rock answered.

Johnson said, “Great question though, still don’t threaten me with the good time because I’m gonna answer that question. Well, as I was saying, as you guys know, because we are all in this deep mythology and it’s been an age-old question of who is gonna win in a fight between Black Adam and Superman.”

He added, “Pound for pound,  they are pretty close. I guess that probably all depends on who is playing Superman and I’m just gonna say that. I’ll leave at that and we’ll just go that way.”

A few weeks ago there were rumors floating of actor Henry Cavill reprising the role of Superman in Black Adam. Also, DJ wants Cavill to play Superman if Black Adam vs Superman movie is ever in talks. Also, Seven Bucks Production being one of the producers, Johnson can ask DC to offer Henry Cavill to make a return.

While answering, there was an element of hesitation on Johnson’s face. However, like SHAZAM there is a high possibility we can see Man of Steel in the post-credits or end credits of the movie. If lucky, though, we can witness Henry Cavill wear the cape again for a 15-second scene.

Dwayne Johnson will make his superhero verse debut as a lead actor with Black Adam. The movie is set to release by the end of October for which everyone is excited. However, before Black Adam, The Rock is set to make box-office success with another DC project.

Johnson, with his best friend Kevin Hart, is a part of the DC animated movie ‘League of Super Pets’. The film is set to release on 29th July 2022 in the United States. Johnson is playing Krypto – The Super Dog, which is the pet of Superman, played by John Krasinski.

Moreover, the film also has Keanu Reeves voicing Batman. Also, Kevin Hart is giving his voice to ‘Ace’ the Bat-Hound. This is the fifth movie for The Rock and Hart together in Hollywood and the second DC Project for Johnson this year.
