The Miz has been in WWE for almost a decade now. The Tough Enough contender lost the competition but won a contract from the Stamford-based promotion in 2004. Since then, whenever he stepped inside the squared circle, he has brought his A-game, be it wrestling or promo skills.

He is a Grand Slam Champion and Triple Crown Champion, with multiple title wins under his belt. For years, he has been running around the promotion with an eccentric persona, entertaining his fans with his funny antics. But today that has led a reigning champion in WWE to mock him and call him a clown.

On the latest episode of WWE The Bump, Gunther was asked to make some comments on his The Miz. The latter recently became the number 1 contender for the IC belt on 11/06 Raw. The champion berated the no. 1 contender on the show and made fun of his appearance as a pro wrestler.

He said, “Isn’t it a big deal of what we as wrestlers should represent, also how you carry yourself? How you carry yourself as a person that people can treat seriously. And don’t walk around looking like a clown. So, I think that sums it up pretty much what my issue was with him.”

In addition, he also warned The Miz about stepping inside the ropes with him. But before Gunther, ‘The A-Lister’ will have to deal with Ivar next week.

The ending of the match pissed Ivar off. Thus, he viciously attacked him after the match ended. This has resulted in an official one-to-one match being arranged between the two for next week. This could potentially be WWE’s approach to propelling Ivar back into the title match, aligning with their original plan.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ivar and Miz both were supposed to win. Ivar was to pin Ricochet and Miz was to pin Reed at the same time, giving them both victory. However, Ricochet suffered a concussion during the match and involuntarily kicked out when Ivar tried to pin him. What do you think of Gunther’s comments on The Miz’s appearance?
