Six months prior to that, ‘The Big Dog’ shocked the world when he announced in a Raw segment that he was battling leukemia for a second time.

Recently, Drew McIntyre expressed his thoughts on battling Reigns after the latter’s return.

In a special interview by a fan, Drew McIntyre revealed his feelings about wrestling a recovering Roman Reigns. McIntyre cleverly answered the question, as well as promoted his book. He said,

“Yeah for sure. I detailed it all right here on my book, The Chosen Destiny [showing the book]. But yeah, it was cool that: one, the company had that kind of trust in me and two, more importantly, that Roman had that kind of trust in me that he was coming back from something so significant. And he was comfortable working with me in such a big stage. To show the world that Roman Reigns was back, and he was a hundred percent”
