Dwayne Johnson Breaks Silence 5 Days After Appearing on the Joe Rogan Podcast and Leaving His Fans Shaken With Major Career Revelations

Dwayne Johnson recently appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience. The Hollywood star shared several interesting tidbits like wanting to become a country music star and nearly turning to MMA in the 90s before his WWE career took off. The Great One shared his feelings about The Joe Rogan Experience chat five days after being on the hit podcast.

Despite not needing additional glory for himself, The Rock finally made his long-awaited appearance on the show and his passionate fans loved every second of it.

The November 15, 2023, episode titled 2063 – The Rock – The Joe Rogan Experience featured The Great One. The topics of discussion revolved around Dwayne Johnson’s personal and professional life. Fans expressed their shock at some stories The Rock told about his time in the WWE, his life, and his father. However, after the podcast aired, Johnson did not reminisce on the experience immediately.

But now he has shared his feelings on social media which rubbed some fans the wrong way. Taking to Instagram five days later, The Rock made sure to correct this. Johnson captioned it, saying, “A great hang with @joerogan for our 3 hour chat!!”

The video accompanying the post was the segment where he described how his father, Rocky Johnson, reacted to him wanting to join wrestling. Several other interesting tidbits revolving around The Rock’s personal and professional life were on display. In an unfiltered episode, Johnson talked about his humble beginnings, stardom, political aspirations, etc to round up a fascinating episode.

But the most startling revelation came in the form of The Rock’s admission that his decision to enter the pro wrestling business led to a massive fight between father and son.

Johnson owes a lot of his career to his father

In the podcast, Dwayne Johnson mentioned that he owes a lot of his success to his father. However, things were not always rosy between them. The caption of the Instagram post also encompasses the WWE icon’s troubled dynamic with his father. In the caption, The Rock wrote, “Here’s the life-changing decision I made to not pursue pro football anymore and instead decide to pursue my true passion – pro wrestling. Which lead to a f*****g massive and emotional fight with my dad over this decision.”

He talked in-depth about how he had to fight tooth and nail to attain what he wanted. The Hollywood star claimed that his father did not like the idea of Johnson joining pro wrestling. According to The Rock, his father wanted him to continue his football career. While he did not immediately agree to train his son, in time, he did. Everything The Rock knew about wrestling came from his father.
