Story of how Dwayne Johnson saved $2.2 million on a house deal

The house deal is none other than his current house in Beverly Hills. The $800 million worth star saved $2.2 million. The story goes that when The Rock bought the house, its market value was $30 million, but Johnson talked to the owner, fellow actor Paul Reiser and got the price down to $27.8 million.

Paul Reiser is none other than the actor who played Dr. Sam Wilson in ‘Stranger Things’. Ironically, Reiser featured in a movie series called ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ and ended up buying a house in the Hills as well. While one can only guess, it is pretty evident that the actor might have given The Rock a Hollywood discount as both of them are in the business currently.

Speaking of Hollywood, Johnson is about to make his biggest splash in the industry this October with ‘Black Adam’. The DCEU feature is one that fans have been anticipating ever since they announced Johnson as the lead. Ever since its completion and first teaser launch, Johnson has been behind the project enthusiastically.
