Dwayne Johnson Once Lashed Out at Host for Giving $80M Hollywood Star His Limelight: ‘Stop Kissing Her A**’

Dwayne Johnson is currently one of the highest-paid and most successful actors in Hollywood. He has starred in several highly grossing films and established himself as one of the legends in Hollywood. However, before becoming an actor, Johnson was a professional wrestler.

Although, it was his failed football career that compelled him to switch career paths and become a professional wrestler. After tasting failure as a footballer, Johnson decided to follow in his family’s footsteps and became a professional wrestler. It was later, after achieving peak success in WWE, Johnson chose Hollywood.

Over the course of his career, Johnson has starred in several movies, and made a name for himself. Hollywood is one of the most competitive industries, and making friends in a competition like this is very tough. However, Dwayne Johnson can be termed as a lucky man. Since he has found himself some of the greatest friends in the industry.

The 50-year-old is known for his friendship with stars such as Kevin Hart, Emily Blunt, Ryan Reynolds and many other. However, after starring in Jungle Cruise with Blunt, Johnson’s friendship with her has developed very much, and the duo are known for their comic timing.

A few years ago, during the promotion of their film ‘Jungle Cruise’ with BBC, Blunt and Johnson engaged in a hilarious conversation with the hosts. The segment started with the hosts asking Blunt about the film, which Blunt used and teased Johnson about him getting to answer questions. Blunt told Johnson, “See? Look they don’t want you to talk. Listen to me.”

This prompted Johnson to lash out at the hosts. He stated, “ Okay. Stop kissing Emily’s a**.” However, all of this was done in good humour, and Blunt would tease that because the hosts are British, just like Blunt, they are allowed to censor Johnson.

The entire segment consisted of several fun moments, and every time Johnson and Blunt come together, it is a laugh fest.

Dwayne Johnson opens up on Black Adam’s Box-Office failure

Last year on October, Dwayne Johnson‘s much hyped Black Adam was released, and it instantly swooped the audiences with its action sequences and cameo. However, the film majorly failed to impress the critics. And, though audiences stormed the theatres to watch the film, it did not score good numbers on the box-office as well.

He recently opened up on the failure, and stated that often having the guts to accept failure is difficult. However, his guts to accept failure over desire has served him well. Johnson claimed 2023 to be his year. And that he would set himself in such a manner that he would win.
