According to statistics released by ‘Numbers.com‘, Will Smith is one of the top three highest-grossing stars of 2021, with an average box-office collection of over 6.5 billion dollars.
However, Smith has been killing at the box office with back-to-back blockbusters like ‘Aladdin’, ‘Gemini Man’, and ‘Bad Boys for Life’.

In the list of the highest-paid celebrities in 2021, Johnson‘s name was visible. ‘The Rock’ had multiple superhit films like ‘Jungle Cruise’ and ‘Red Notice’ coming out that year, and hence, it’s no surprise he earned a huge amount.

Shockingly enough, the larger bulk of his $250 million earnings came not from his Hollywood ventures, but from his businesses. ‘The Brahma Bull’ runs an enormously successful brand of tequila called ‘Teramana’ which has been doing great.
Will Smith’s history with Dwayne Johnson
With Johnson’s most anticipated movie ‘Black Adam’ stated to release this October, fans cannot help but compare the megastars. While Smith is not in open competition with Johnson, it is easy to see how the actors are similar – they bring a lot of the same qualities to their products. Be it dedication, charm, or genuine love for what they do, very few actors beat Johnson and Smith.

An interesting point to note here is that Will Smith could have previously lost some roles to the People’s Champion. Rumors had surfaced that Johnson might play Genie in the proposed ‘Aladdin’ sequel.
However, Smith played the role to perfection. This surprised fans as the one and only Robin Williams iconically played Genie before Smith.
