Hollywood is currently abuzz with the news of Dwayne Johnson‘s upcoming film The Smashing Machine, where he plays former UFC champion Mark Kerr. While the movie is yet to begin filming, another one of his movies has just announced its release date.

So, if you’re a fan of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s films, there’s reason for you to be happy. Though, you might have to wait a while.

When will Red One hit the theatres?

Johnson has been teasing the release of the movie for some time now. He has also shared several posts from the sets of Red One, which stars Oscar winner JK Simmons and Captain America’s Chris Evans. Now makers have announced the release date.

As per a report by Deadline, Amazon MGM Studios and Seven Bucks Production have announced November 15, 2024, as the theatrical release of the film.

As per Johnson, Red One provides a ‘fresh new take on Christmas’. It also stars actors Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, and Wesley Kimmel.

The film is directed by Jake Kasdan, who had earlier worked with The Great One in Jumanji.
