During the WWE’s Premium Live Event ‘Battleground’ last Sunday, June 9, Cody Rhodes mentioned through his social media that he was interested in seeing his old friend Ethan Page. He also said that he planned to go to Orlando, Florida, to visit and dole out some gifts to some friends.

These claims led WWE to make official the appearance of ‘The American Nightmare’ for Tuesday’s show. But was it all at the request of The American Nightmare? Well, not really. As Dwayne Johnson‘s daughter and NXT General Manager Ava Raine just made a stunning revelation.

On Monday Night RAW, WWE announced that the American Nightmare will make an appearance next Tuesday, June 11, on the weekly episode of NXT. So, when the WWE uploaded a picture of Cody Rhodes announcing the same, Ava Raine decided to let the world know that she was truly the one who was bringing the Universal Champion to the black and gold brand. Re-posting the original post by the WWE, Raine wrote, “sincerely, yours truly 👩🏽‍🍳”

However, it would be interesting to see how The Rock reacts to this move by his daughter. As the WWE Universe truly knows by now, the Brahma Bull has become the arch-nemesis of the Universal Champion. The role that the company’s Undisputed Universal Champion will have in this show was not revealed. But it is expected that he will not participate in the ring and will be present to give some promos in the dressing room.
