For those unaware, The People’s Eyebrow is a facial expression that ‘The Rock’ makes by titling his head and raising one eyebrow while lowering the other.

This signature has gotten so viral in the past years that you can find several memes on it over the internet. Recently, Johnson’s mother Ata Johnson performed her son’s signature eyebrow raise, and it looks like she is the one who came up with it in the first place.

Recently, WWE superstar Nia Jax – Johnson’s cousin – shared a reel of herself, her mom, and Ata Johnson doing the Bombastic side eye TikTok trend on her Instagram feed. At the end of the video, fans can see Johnson’s mother doing the famous eyebrow raise and she nailed it.

Seeing Mommy Johnson perform her son’s iconic signature so well made the fans think that the 51-year-old actor may have stolen it from his mother. One fan commented, “Can see where the rock gets the people’s eyebrow from in this video.” While another fan wrote, “😍😍😍 mama Rock wit the Peoples Eyebrow!!!!!”
