The former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz has been a part of the most brilliant storyline in WWE history. He closely worked with top stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson throughout the Attitude Era.

The Rock tweeted, “I first worked with Brian in ’99 and suggested to @VinceMcMahon we hire Brian as @WWE’s first ever writer. Boss (Vince) agreed. Wrestlers hated it. I loved it. He became WWE’s head writer for years. Today he’s VP of @SevenBucksProd. And releasing this BOOK you should read!”

The Hollywood actor and Mr. McMahon brought in Brain Gewirtz as a WWE writer in 1999. Little did they know he would go on to become the youngest and longest-tenured head writer in the company. Gewirtz’s contribution to the WWE changed the landscape of the company.

In addition, Gewirtz’s writing helped defeat WCW, and later give birth to WWE Ruthless Aggression Era. According to Dwayne Johnson, even though other WWE superstars hated Gewirtz, it was a pleasure for The Rock to work with him.

How did Brain Gewirtz help The Rock in Hollywood?

Brain Gewirtz stayed with Mr. McMahon’s promotion until 2012 and joined Dwayne Johnson in his Hollywood venture. In Hollywood, when Gewirtz left WWE, he went to The Rock’s Seven Bucks Production and has been the head writer there as well.

Moreover, Gewirtz is the Vice President of the Seven Bucks Productions. Since then, under Gewirtz’s writing, Johnson has done some exceptional movies over the last decade or so.

The Rock today wished the former WWE writer for his brand new book, ‘There’s Just One Problem…’. Brian Gewirtz’s upcoming book gives readers an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look, at surreal, chaotic, and unbelievable tales from the world of WWE.
