Dwayne Johnson‘s UFL dream continues to spread wings with some more quality additions to the jam-packed roster. Before commencing the first brand-new season, it seems the higher-ups have left with no stone unturned to make it a grand success.

While the schedule for the 2024 season (March 30, 2024, to June 2, 2024) has already come to light, fans can look forward to witnessing a season worth nothing less than a banger. The Hollywood actor’s UFL took steps to ensure the same as they recruited some talented players to ramp up the competition and entertainment.

Dwayne Johnson’s UFL welcomes fresh faces into the house

The UFL will hit the field to deliver its first-ever event with eight teams, Arlington (TX), Birmingham (AL), Detroit (MI), Houston (TX), San Antonio (TX), Memphis (TN), St. Louis (MO), and Washington D.C. To add to the volume of the card, seven different players have been signed to grace the league. The newbies include Duron Lowe (ARL), Jordon Wright (ARL), Josh Vann (MEM), LaColby Tucker (MI), Anthony McFarland (SA), Jacob Sykes ( SA), and Brad Wing (SA)

Since Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Redbird Capital saved the XFL in 2020, The Rock has been the guardian angel for the league. The WWE legend has worked tirelessly for the league’s overall betterment.

As part of these efforts, we saw XFL merging with its key competitor, USFL, last summer

Ardent football fans have expressed their delight at this move as their favorite sport continues to grow. Moreover, the Hollywood star couldn’t be happier with the steps his league has taken to catapult to greater heights.

Dwayne Johnson inspires hope with his new UFL journey

To fill the springtime void between NFL seasons, the XFL and USFL decided to work together to be America’s primary alternative football league. Touting his personal feelings regarding the same, the needle mover of the league Dwayne Johnson noted, “I think it’s going to work out, we’ve got a real shot with this now that we’ve merged XFL [and] USFL together to create UFL. We found great success last season with the XFL, USFL on their side found some really great success too,”

Johnson recollected the unfortunate event of his life, of not being able to be drafted into the NFL. He further reiterated the satisfaction he receives to see other youngsters getting the same privilege that he didn’t get and advancing toward their dreams seamlessly.

Going forward, we certainly have more to get from the die-hard football freak with his passion venture in the future.
