Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Gets Honest About Potentially Running for US President

Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson is hands down one of the most successful wrestlers to walk on this planet. After crushing it over in the pro-wrestling business, Dwayne Johnson moved to Hollywood to seek out new ventures; however, little did the world know, The Rock would become one of the highest-paid Hollywood actors of all time.

However, it looks like the people of the United States want more than just acting and wrestling from the Jumanji actor. According to a poll published by Piplsay; it says that nearly half of all U.S. adults would support his candidacy, 46% of people.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the former WWE Champion has now responded about his future and whether he is interested in diving deep into the bizarre world of politics.

The Rock speaking his truth

Speaking about the same, The Rock confessed that he doesn’t know a thing when it comes to politics. However, he is surprised and humbled by how much the adults of the US trust him.

The Rock straight up denied the fact that he will ever get involved in politics or even consider the idea of it. He added that although he may have some leadership qualities, he is not suitable to run a country.

“You know, at the end of the day, I don’t know the first thing about politics. I don’t know the first thing about policy. I care deeply about our country. Care about every fu**ing American who bleeds red, and that’s all of them. And—there’s no delusion here—I may have some decent leadership qualities, but that doesn’t necessarily make me a great presidential candidate. That’s where I am today,” The Rock said.

This is The Rock’s modesty that he so generously chose not to run the country and thinks there are more sound and qualified people who can do this job running a country much better.
