Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Makes a Special Plea to a Canadian News Anchor

The first episode of season 2 of the sitcom Young Rock is out on NBC Network. The sitcom features the life of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. In the first episode, Dwayne Johnson joined the Canadian football team, Calgary Stampeders. Also, he was seen struggling with the new rules of the game in Canada.

Upon Dwayne’s joining the team, he did an interview with CTV News sharing his excitement about being on the team.

Recently, after the first episode of season two of Young Rock aired Ian White, an anchor of CTV News shared the picture of the actual interview on his Twitter account. In his tweet he said, 

“Let’s end this week on a lighter note. Young Rock on @nbc tells the story of  @TheRock’s brief time with the @calstampeders. @CTVCalgary at 5 how the show borrows material from an interview our @CTVGCampbell did with Dwayne Johnson back then.”

The actual picture and the scene from the sitcom are very much similar and fans were very excited to see it. Dwayne Johnson also saw the tweet and had a special request for Ian White.

The Rock said, “Unbelievable to see this image. Ian can you get your hands on that interview I did in Calgary and the Stamps stadium back in 95? I’ll have my team connect with you offline🙏🏾I have two cases of @Teremana with your name on it if you can find me that interview brother 😉🥃”

It shocked Dwayne himself to see his picture from the interview and now he wants the footage as memory. Dwayne also offered two cases of his own tequila brand, Teremana Tequila, to Ian if he can find the interview.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson praised Arlyn Broche for portraying his ex-wife in Young Rock

The Rock’s ex-wife Dany Garcia’s character made her debut on the series Young Rock in season 2.

Some days before the first episode aired, Dwayne Johnson posted a clip from the series on his Instagram. The clip featured the debut of Dany Garcia’s character in the sitcom. Actress Arlyn Broche plays the role. 

Dwayne in the caption praised Arlyn before he gave a brief history of how he and Dany met each other and how Dany Garcia wanted to become a businesswoman.
