The Rock is called the People’s Champion for a reason. No Superstar is able to keep the audience on its toes the way Dwayne Johnson could. His promos, his matches, his catchphrases and even his movies have made him incredibly popular across fans of all ages.

The former WWE Champion posted a hilarious tweet in response to a fan’s birthday post on Twitter. Chief Lady Bird obtained a cardboard cut out of the Rock for his mother’s birthday. The Rock replied to the sweet gesture, wishing his mother a happy birthday.

The Rock: The People’s Champion

The Rock often gives shout outs to his most ardent fans and people who tweet some genuinely funny content about him. He most recently went on a retweet spree of all those who imitated his iconic turtleneck-fanny pack-combination outfit from the 90s.

His Twitter game is incredible and his tweets are absolute gold. It almost seems like the Rock is as good on the phone as he was in the ring with a microphone in his hand.

In a truly heartfelt gesture, he sent two bottles of his Teremana Tequila to a woman celebrating her 101th birthday. It is always a pleasure to see a former wrestler send positive vibes to his fans and the WWE Universe whenever he can.

The Rock’s WWE career and transition to Hollywood

The Rock has had one of the most decorated careers in professional wrestling. He is a ten time WWE Champion, a Royal Rumble winner, a WrestleMania main eventer and WWE’s sixth Triple Crown Champion. The man has achieved close to everything in the wrestling business before making a career for himself in Hollywood.

Dwayne Johnson is currently the highest paid Hollywood actor. He has starred in movies like Fast and the Furious, The Mummy, Rampage and Skyscraper. Each of his movies have gone to break box office records and have made him a household name in Hollywood.

The Rock even has his own TV show coming out on NBC. It is called ‘Young Rock’ and it focuses on the Rock’s teenage years, as he battles depression, plays football and tries to find his path in the world of wrestling.

The Rock’s last WWE appearance came at the premiere episode of SmackDown on Fox. He and Becky Lynch teamed up to embarrass the ‘King of the Ring’ Baron Corbin. In signature Rock fashion, he whipped the crowd into a frenzy and left on a high note, slamming Corbin with the People’s Elbow.
