

Since changing his path into Hollywood, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has come a long way from being just an actor. Today, apart from being a WWE Legend and an action hero, The Rock is also a successful businessperson and a film producer.
A few days ago, Johnson shared a post on his Instagram about filming in his hometown in Hawaii. In the caption, he stated that he will announce the same next week. However, he shared a video recently, on his social media, revealing what was the filming about.

Dwayne Johnson was filming in Hawaii for a new show for Shark Week on Discovery Channel. Seven Bucks Production partnered with Discovery to bring the first-ever Shark Week episode – Master of Ceremonies.
The Jumanji actor was glad about filming in his hometown in Hawaii for this special episode. Johnson also wrote how sharks are beautiful predators and are called Aumakua, which are deeply revered and respected in the Polynesian culture.

In Hawaiian mythology, an Aumakua is a personal or family god that originated as a deified ancestor, and takes on physical forms such as spirit vehicles. An Aumakua may manifest as a shark, owl, bird, octopus, or inanimate objects such as plants or rocks. DJ sharing such unique and never-heard before knowledge certainly evokes curiosity among us all.

More interestingly, the former WWE star shed a light on the tattoo on his arms, which has shark teeth on it. He wrote about his tattoo, “shark teeth are throughout to protect my ancestors and our MANA 🦈”

The episode featuring The Rock will telecast on Discovery on 24th July 2022. We see the trailer of the episode in Johnson’s post, which gives a hint of what to expect.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson receives an unexpected letter from a young fan in Hawaii
While staying in Hawaii, Dwayne Johnson recently shared a heartwarming video on his Instagram of an 11-year-old fan named Troy Song sending him a letter. He found the letter in his briefcase after returning to his home. His security kept the note in his briefcase.
Johnson read the letter by the 11-year-old fan who is one of the biggest fans of The Jumanji actor and waited in the hotel lobby to meet DJ. The Rock thanked the little fan, saying, “Thank you Troy for this awesome note and I’m super happy that it made its way all the way to my office!”. Needless to say that The People’s Champ again nailed a beautiful caption as well.

Troy Song, in his letter, gave his phone number and address as well. As per the security, the young fan waited for hours to meet his favorite hero. But as it was too late and Johnson was busy, they couldn’t meet.

Johnson said that as he has Troy’s address now, he will be sending a big box of cool gifts for being his biggest fan. Furthermore, The Rock said they are buddies now and he can have a great summer telling his friends that Johnson is a friend of Troy Song. Nice gestures like these make DJ truly The Great One.
