E! Network to Cancel WWE Shows ‘Total Bellas’ and ‘Total Divas’ After Almost a Decade

WWE first ventured into Reality TV with the help of ‘Total Bellas.’ The show on E! Network had an ensemble cast featuring the top faces of the WWE women’s division.
However, after 9 years and 9 seasons of total chaos and innumerable spin-offs later, E! has apparently dropped the series from its itinerary. Both Total Divas and The Bella Twins centric spin-off “Total Bellas” is apparently coming to an end.
The rumors have persisted for a while, but Dave Meltzer confirmed it in an article of Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently. Both shows are over for good!

“There is a pretty decent chance “Total Bellas” is done.,” he said. “We had been told that as of a month ago, E! had not renewed the show nor “Total Divas,”
“So its reality show tie-up with WWE that dates back eight years and led to an influx of women fans (which softened the blow of the more massive decline of male fans during that same period) for its major programming is over.”
The series’ main protagonists, The Bella Twins started that they would not appear in the ninth season of the show. They were going to focus more on their own show, but it’s all over now.
E! is yet to confirm or deny the news. However, there is indeed no release date (or any info) on Total Divas for season ten and Total Bellas for season seven.

Despite being the front runners of the series, the WWE Hall of Famers has decided to call it quits after much evaluation. But the question ultimately came down to their newborns.
Birdie, Buddy, and Matteo have been featured on the show since their births. The Bellas have realized that having their kids on television is not the best for them.

“We love filming reality. We don’t mind it, but you start seeing your kids and that’s what you have to start to think about,” Brie explained. She also said that her husband Daniel Bryan and elder daughter Birdie don’t like to be filmed.
The new mother, Nikki also supported her sister, as she revealed Artem and she wanted Matteo to have a “normal upbringing.” Being on TV hinders that greatly.
