Edge replied he believed in himself to be in the main event of WrestleMania one day. He also added how important it is to clear away the barriers that stop someone away from their dream.
Edge added- “You know in my mind, yeah. I think I had to have that belief. You know, honestly, everyone who is getting into this sh*t should have this belief. You also need some self-awareness and understand that there might be some things put in your path that might make it impossible. So I had that self belief to not accept the answers that I was getting.”
The Rated R superstar is still a vital force for WWE
There are instances where a WWE Hall of Famer would make his return for a match and two and be sidelined after that. However, this is not the case with Edge. The former World Champion has still got it and has proved that he belongs in the ring rather than sitting at home.
Edge, since his return, has faced superstars such as Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, and Seth Rollins. His recent match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam had it all. The bout featured some great promos and impressive moves in the ring.
