“22 years ago today we starting truly carving our path in the first tag team ladder match. 22 years later I’m about to face off with a talent who will go down as one of the best to do it. In Hell in A Cell. One helluva ride.” Edge wrote.

What happened 22 years ago?

Edge and Christian and The Hardy Boyz squared off against each other at No Mercy 1999. Edge, Christian, Matt Hardy, and Jeff Hardy engaged in a brutal ladder match, not for the Tag team gold but instead for a $100,000 and the “services” of Terri Runnels.
