The Money in the Bank PPV was a blockbuster! From surprising match results to John Cena’s return, the event had it all. One thing that fell out of place was Edge not winning the Universal Championship match.

Edge was in the main event match for the night against ‘The Head of the Table’ Roman Reigns in a one-on-one bout for the coveted Universal Championship, but he got robbed when Seth Rollins interfered in the match.

Rollins had lost the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match earlier that night and took his frustration out on Edge in the main event of the PPV.

The Rated-R Superstar might have lost the title match, but he is glad to share the epic battle in front of the capacity crowd at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

The former champ wrote an emotional Instagram post, thanking all the WWE Universe claiming that he feels like “an 18 wheeler truck” ran over him. He promised that he will give everything he’s got no matter the result.

After Rollins interfered, Edge and Rollins fought their battle through the crowd and all the way backstage. Since then, he has not released his displeasure about the match’s outcome.

The WWE Universe still wants to see what happens next with the Universal title, who is up for grabs for it. Clearly, John Cena has challenged ‘The Head of the Table’ for the title.
