Becky Lynch returned to WWE at this year’s SummerSlam PPV after giving birth to her child. Fans were eagerly waiting for The Man to step into the ring, so she understandably came out to a massive cheer from the fans.
Though the fans were happy that The Man was back, they weren’t happy with the storyline. Lynch defeated Bianca Belair in just 26 seconds to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Soon after that, Becky turned heel.
Recently, former WWE writer Vince Russo revealed his thoughts on Becky Lynch’s current heel run. The former WWE writer is definitely not pleased with the heel character of Becky Lynch now. He criticized the current version of The Man and compared it to the version of Lynch we saw back in 2018 when she got busted open by Nia Jax.

Speaking to Dr. Chris Featherstone on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of Raw, Russo said (h/t: Sportskeeda), “Bro, look at Becky when she was cutting the bloody promo when Nia Jax busted her open, look at that Becky, and look at Elton John Becky tonight. How did we go from A to Z bro?
“Now she’s wearing Elton John glasses and all these bright clothes and she’s half comedian, half wrestler, no bro, you are the tough chick from Ireland who got her face busted. How did you become Elton John? It’s all forced bro,” Russo added.

Who will challenge Becky Lynch next for the Raw Women’s Championship?

Becky Lynch might get a new challenger for her Raw Women’s Championship in the coming days. While she was cutting a promo backstage following her victory last night, Liv Morgan interrupted her. Later in the Raw Talk last night, Lynch stated Morgan is a kid with a lot of potential, and they all are just waiting for her to perform the way they know she can.
Moreover, Lynch claimed Bianca Belair doesn’t deserve another title chance, as she has lost to Becky every time. So, it is now time for her to step aside.

It will be interesting to see if WWE gives Bianca Belair another chance before starting Becky’s feud with Liv Morgan. Considering the manner in which Bianca lost, the E.S.T of WWE will surely want another shot at the Raw Women’s Championship.
