A former WWE superstar has decided to leave wrestling. Jinny is a 35 years old UK-based WWE star, who wrestled for the WWE NXT UK brand. But, she had to put a full stop to her wrestling career due to an injury. Jinny didn’t reveal anything about her injury yet. Recently, she came on Twitter and shared this heartbreaking news with her fans. 

Born in London, England, Jinny stepped inside the world of professional wrestling in 2015 when she has her first match at Progress ENDVR:8 against Pollyanna. She later defeated several opponents in several chapters and earned the Progress women’s championship.

She even wrestled for Pro wrestling Chaos in 2015. Jinny earned the title of South coast queen of the ring by defeating Lana Austin. 

WWE career of Jinny

Jinny started her WWE career in April 2017, when she took part in Wrestlemania 33 Axxess ( a WWE wrestling fan convention that occurs during Wrestlemania week). And, in June 2018, she officially joined WWE by signing the contract. Jinny was the part of newly created NXT UK brand. During her pro wrestling career, she even got a feud with Rhea Ripley. Jinny was at the peak of her career in NXT UK. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long as she took a break from wrestling in November 2021, because of an unknown injury.

She finally announced her retirement after being away for more than a year from professional wrestling. She shared this news through her official Twitter handle leaving her fans heartbroken. Jinny wrote:

“After a long time away due to an injury, I have made the decision to hang up my fashionable boots. Thank you for all the memories. I’ll remember for them forever. Every journey has an end, but in life, every ending is just a new beginning. I’m excited about what’s next”

Jinny must be going through a hard time after giving up on professional wrestling. Even during her break, she was involved in NXT UK through BT sport. And, now she decided to quit her career. Moreover, she is excited about the next chapter of her life. Will she become the part of wrestling industry via backstage work, or will she decide to go along an entirely new path? Only time could answer this question. For now, we wish Jinny the best of luck for her future.
