Injuries are unavoidable when you take bumps for a living. During the match, Bayley charged at Asuka from one corner of the ring. In doing so, the former Women’s Champion severely injured her right knee, as she immediately fell, grabbing and favoring her knee. This prompted the referee, Jessika Carr, to make an ‘X’ sign, indicating that Bayley could not continue the match.

In addition, Charlotte Flair broke character and checked on her friend before getting back in the match. As the referee made sure the injured star got the attention she needed, Asuka and Flair continued the match.

She wrote, “I’ll be alright, thanks everyone.” In the picture, Bayley appears to be icing her injured knee. Although the 34-year-old star is a heel, she is one of the fan favorites in the women’s division.

Nonetheless, the WWE Universe took to Twitter to wish the female star well after she provided a reassuring update on her injury.
