These were just the first steps that he took. Second came his training routine. To ensure a superb physique, training is mandatory. Jinder Mahal started working out everyday. In fact, he started his day with cardio.

He prefers doing 25 minutes of cardio in an empty stomach after a cup of black coffee without sugar. He either uses the elliptical machine he has at home or any cardio machine the hotel gym has during tours. Following this, he has a meal of one banana, oats, and a scoop of protein shake.

Mahal does the rest of his training an hour afterwards. This session goes on for almost one and a half hours. His post-workout meal is like his pre-workout meal.

Jinder Mahal follows a proper diet plan

Coming to his meals, he takes the help of a meal preparing company. His focus is on balance and most of his meals comprise chicken and rice or turkey and pasta, essentially anything that helps him with his macros.

Mahal doesn’t lift very heavy weights because he doesn’t want to put immense pressure on his joints. Therefore, the WWE Superstar prefers doing cardio on an elliptical machine rather than a treadmill.

During his workouts, he sticks to a series of compound movements such as deadlifts, lat pulldown, barbell rows, squats, bench press, and shoulder press.
