Dwayne Johnson has certainly accomplished many accolades in his career. So much so that he has a sitcom that is loosely based on his life. The NBC series ‘Young Rock’ takes a look back at various facets of his life. His popularity has certainly soared after a successful career in Hollywood. The third season of the series is currently streaming and Johnson shared the trailer of the latest episode. He revealed he had an ‘evil’ feeling about it and mentioned a friend.

The Brahma Bull first enchanted everyone with his wrestling talents before making it big in the movies business. He has graced high-budget projects with his presence and established himself as one of the stalwarts of the action genre. Johnson recently mentioned his Seven Bucks Production’s head writer and best friend Brian Gewirtz’s recent anxiety in a recent social media post.

Dwayne Johnson jokes at the expense of his best friend

He posted, “The genuine loathing and anxiety @bfg728 has over seeing himself portrayed on TV for the first time in his life, brings me such evil joy. That’s what best friends do right?”

Gewirtz also worked as the head writer for WWE under Vince McMahon. The People’s Champ was basically pulling his best friend’s leg, as it was his first portrayal ever on-screen.

Dwayne Johnson might be bantering with Brian Gewirtz in his recent post. No doubt it will be a proud moment for him that his long-time associate would be played on-screen. Fans would love the camaraderie between the duo displayed on the web. And they would be interested to see how it plays on the screen.

 

Johnson had a bad December when it was revealed the second edition of Black Adam won’t be a possibility. He confirmed the same in his Twitter post last month.

The change in guard at the top of DCEU has brought along this terrible news for his fans. Henry Cavill’s exit from the universe was also confirmed last month. The Great One will not lose much sleep though, as the list of his upcoming movies suggests several other projects.

A return to the squared circle beckons

He is expected to return to WrestleMania 39 and face Roman Reigns. Johnson was last seen in the squared circle way back in WrestleMania 32. He beat Erick Rowan who was a team member of WWE superstar Bray Wyatt at the time. It has been ages since wrestling fans have seen The People’s Champ in the ring and they would be craving to witness him in action.
