Pro wrestlers may play the big bad at times in the ring, but they can be real-life heroes on certain occasions. Recently, an incident in Tampa led to a former pro wrestler rising up to the stage, and taking part in a heroic activity.

An armed assailant was stopped from causing chaos in a strip club in Tampa, Florida by former wrestler Manuel “Manny” Anthony Resto. Resto was the security guard at the club, and he played an essential role in stopping the assailant from entering the club.

The former professional wrestler became a local hero, after saving lives at the adult club and stopping major harm from occurring.  According to a report from Fox 13 news, initially, Resto thought it was a friend of his playing a prank by wearing a devil mask. However, when he noticed a gun and other arms, he was sure it was not a prank.
