Ex WWE CEO and Billionaire Linda McMahon Once Got Extremely Honest on the Reason Her Company Went Bankrupt

Ex-CEO of WWE and Vince McMahon’s wife, Linda McMahon, recently talked about their bankruptcy. It is something about these low points in life which help us kick back and get back up on our feet.

The two invested in a construction company in the 70s without prior experience in the field. This caused them to face a major setback: “Our home was auctioned off, my car was repossessed in the driveway, [and] I was pregnant with our second child. It’s embarrassing to have your house auctioned off all of those things are they really, you know, give you good life experiences but also smacks you in the face,” she revealed.

It is probable that these mistakes forged the entrepreneur in the couple that we see today. Currently, Linda McMahon is worth over $1.24 billion.

Linda McMahon reminisces about her business career

Linda McMahon’s life is nothing short of a miracle. She got out of all that and climbed up the ladders to contest for the US Senate. McMahon contested from Connecticut but could not seal a victory. Later on, however, she got an opportunity to be part of the cabinet.

McMahon added, “We were very young, and we learned our lessons early on. And that’s why I like to talk to people about them and young business startups. To say, you know, watch out, stick to what you know, have that focus, have that business plan and go for it. I’ve always said it’s really not how you fall, but it’s how you get back up, then you just keep doing it.” 

Knowing what Vince McMahon and she have gone through together as a couple might make you think about all the hard work and backstory that goes unnoticed in the background. Even though they are no longer together, it has still shaped their current selves in many ways.

“The advice I give from all that is do something that you’re passionate about and that you understand and that you know,” said McMahon. Some important words to live by, indeed.
