Ex-WWE Superstar Mercedes Mone Gets ‘Caught in the Crossfire’ of Ugly Bar Fight Causing Fans to Worry

Former WWE superstars Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE last year, after differences over their creative direction. Ever since walking out of WWE, both the superstars stayed away from the in-ring action. However, early in January, Banks made her way to Japan under a new name, Mercedes Mone, and involved herself in a feud with Kairi.

However, Naomi has neither returned to WWE nor made an appearance in any other promotion. The duo was rarely seen in public until fans spotted the friends on a major television show.

Fans were quick to spot Mone and Naomi casually hanging out together in an episode of Bar Rescue’s latest episode promo. The segment had Naomi and Mone casually minding their own business while the show’s host, Jon Taffer, chided the owner.

The moment was extremely awkward for the former WWE Women’s tag team champions. Taffer would absolutely grill the bar’s owner Joe for his drinking problem and losing money while being in huge debt. He spoke to Joe’s wife about his drinking problem, and then have a discussion with him about it.

Mercedes Money and Naomi were quick to react to this video and joked about it. While Mone claimed that all she wanted was some fries and beer, Naomi defend herself by claiming she was waiting for a cheese quesadilla.

Fans loved the entire concept and reacted to it. While, it was surprising to see Mone and Naomi in the segment, Jon Taffer had previously done something similar to Adam Cole and Britt Baker as well.

As soon as the video dropped, fans started providing their reactions to the segment.

It was surprising witnessing the wrestling stars caught in the middle of Jon Taffer’s show. However, he is known to bring wrestling stars in his show as he once did with AEW star Adam Cole and his wife, Britt Baker.

Still, the fans were shocked to see Mone and Naomi, and started reacting to it.

The fans were excited to see Naomi and Mone in public after a long span of time. While Mone is involved in a feud in Japan, fans are still uncertain about Naomi’s future in wrestling.
