Fan Sparks Shock Waves on Social Media by Getting “The Worst” Cody Rhodes’ Tattoo After Losing WrestleMania 39 Bet

Cody Rhodes has changed the wrestling landscape with his return to WWE. Not only did fans flood arenas to watch him, but he also delivered with every performance. Whether it was a mic segment with Sami Zayn or Roman Reigns or a series of matches with Seth Rollins, no one could come close to the caliber of Rhodes.

Even during his days in the Indies and AEW, Rhodes amassed a huge fanbase who adored the American Nightmare. Rolling down from that, this fan bet a tattoo staked on Rhodes’ victory at WrestleMania 39. But as we all know, he lost it.

Fan gets a tattoo similar to Cody Rhodes after losing his bet

On the WWE subreddit, a post said, “Friend bet if Roman wins he would get Cody tattoo on his neck.“, following this, the photo of his friend with the tattoo was shared. This sent the subreddit to call out the guy for sticking to his word or being crazy enough to get the tattoo or betting on it in the first place.

This is just the surface level of the amount of love that Rhodes gets from his fan. This past Monday, after being beaten up by Brock Lesnar in a severely hard-to-watch segment, everyone was worried about Rhodes’ health and cursed Lesnar on social media. Nevertheless, fans flocked to express their reactions to the fan with the tattoo.

Reddit calls out the fan for getting the tattoo

While this might look like a sweet gesture to the fan’s dedication to WrestleMania 39 main event, not all fans shared the same sentiment. Some called out the fan for believing the results of a wrestling show. Then some praised the friend for keeping his word and getting such a specific and colorful tattoo on his neck.
