Dwayne Johnson made his appearance felt at the Oscars on March 12th, 2023. Surely, he was excited to be a part of the 95th Academy Awards, as he was presenting an award at the event. However, while being on the red carpet, he got asked about Black Adam’s failure and Henry Cavill’s departure.
The Brahma Bull gave an interview to Variety while appearing on the Oscars red carpet. The interviewer quickly asked about his views on Black Adam and Henry Cavill’s situation that happened a few months ago.

The Rock said, “All that I could do in that week-a-do when we were making Black Adam, was put our best foot forward and surround ourselves with the best people and also, deliver the best movie we could. Our audience score was in the 90s. Critics took a couple of shots.”

The WWE legend added, “That’s just the business of it, though. But I think it’s like when you have a pro football team and your quarterback wins championships, the head coach wins championships and you have a new owner. The new owner comes in ‘not my coach, not my quarterback, I gonna go with somebody new.'”

Clearly, he didn’t expect a question related to Black Adam while appearing at the Oscars this year. Nevertheless, he handled it professionally with a football reference. But the fans weren’t impressed with this question being asked at the Oscars.

Black Adam was a dream project of The Rock, but it didn’t go the way he expected. However, he has moved forward now and is doing great with his football league XFL. Moreover, he was supposed to appear in WWE for WrestleMania season but wasn’t able to due to not being in a ring shape.
