The Miz plays a devious heel character on-screen, but off it, he is a loving husband and a caring father. He recently provided a sneak peek into his WWE Story Time episode where he narrated a truly touching story, recalling how he once had to wear four foot tall angel wings for a photoshoot with his wife Maryse.

The Miz helped organise a pregnancy shoot for his wife

“My wife says ‘Hey Mike, I would love to do a pregnancy photoshoot’. We know that I am not good at pregnancy photoshoots,” said the Miz. The last pregnancy photoshoot was a nude one which did not go as planned. The Miz was ready to go butt-naked again but Maryse stopped him and gave him a better idea.

“This photoshoot for the new baby, Maryse wanted to do something ‘out in the open’, kind of like in the mountains,” said Miz. Maryse even wanted a little bit of ‘Victoria’s Secret’ in the outdoor photoshoot. This led to her deciding to get huge four-foot angel wings. Miz was tasked with the responsibility of picking up the giant wings.

The A-Lister was late to do his task and his wife was already prepared for the shoot. “My wife, she’s ready, make up done, hair is did, all I need is the wings. Oh, and Munroe was also ready with her dress on,” narrated the Miz. Munroe is Miz and Maryse’s older daughter. They now have another daughter named Madison.

Sudden car trouble

The Miz was faced with another obstacle as his car broke down on the way to the top of the mountain. He said, “Tried to call a taxi, tried to call and Uber, but I can’t do either ’cause I didn’t have service.” Miz then proceeded to run up to the mountain with the wings in his hand. “Feathers are flying everywhere, they’re all over my hair, they’re in my mouth.”

He finally managed to reach the top of the mountain with the wings fairly intact and was able to proceed with the photoshoot. However, his daughter Monroe was incredibly camera conscious. In an attempt to make her smile, Miz turned into an absolute clown. He tried his best to make her laugh and just as the sun rays hit the angel wings, Monroe smiled and they captured a beautiful picture.

Dad of the Year

Unfortunately for the Miz, as soon as he entered the frame, Monroe’s smile turned into a cute dazed look. This resulted in the pregnancy picture being Maryse with Monroe instead of the entire family.

However, he should be more than proud of what he did. Not only did he somehow manage to get Maryse her pregnancy photoshoot, he also did what most fathers fail to do: Make their daughter smile in front of the camera.
