The latest round of WWE releases raised a lot of eyebrows all around the world. Not only did the fans and the WWE superstars react to it, but wrestlers from other promotions also reacted to this news as well. Recently, Jordynne Grace took to Twitter to comment on this situation.
Jordynne Grace claimed it is one thing to not renew someone’s contract, and it is another thing to move someone to an unfamiliar area, and release the person just months after they have signed the contract.
This tweet was a kind of reference to Jordynne Grace’s former colleague, Franky Monet. Franky Monet (known as Taya Valkyrie in Impact Wrestling) and Jordynne Grace share a good bond, irrespective of their on-screen rivalry at Impact Wrestling.

It’s one thing to not renew someone’s contract.
It’s another thing to have someone uproot their entire lives, move to an unfamiliar area, and release them from their contract mere months into it.
THAT’S what’s fucked up.
— Trisha Parker (@JordynneGrace) November 5, 2021
Following her signing with WWE, Monet had moved from California so that she could stay near Orlando’s WWE Performance Center. But unfortunately, she got released within a year after her signing. Not only Franky Monet but even the other superstars were released after they showed great promise on the main roster.
For example, Keith Lee just returned to Monday Night Raw a month ago with a new ‘Bearcat’ gimmick. It looked like WWE was finally ready to give Keith Lee the main event push he deserved. But unfortunately, after showing signs of promise over the last month, even Keith Lee got released recently.

There was a lot of hype around Franky Monet’s NXT debut; Monet made her NXT debut by interrupting Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez.
To be fair, Monet was pretty impressive since her debut. She defeated Cora Jade, Elektra Lopez, and Jacy Jayne in her first few matches.
