“Female Hulk Hogan” – Booker T Gives Top Raw Superstar a Massive Compliment

Hulk Hogan is one superstar who will stay evergreen in the world of professional wrestling. Not only did ‘The Hulkster’ prove himself in the ring, but he also won over the hearts of the people with his personality. The craze and fan base which Hulk Hogan created for himself and professional wrestling was enviable and inspirational.

Time and again, he entertained the fans either through the segments or through his memorable matches. During his time in WWE, Hulk Hogan was among the major attractions on the show. It is almost impossible to have a personality like him again in the world of professional wrestling. But there is one female superstar in WWE who reminds Booker T of ‘The Hulkster’.

In a recent episode of The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T mentioned Rhea Ripley as the female Hulk Hogan. He said, “She’s like the female Hulk Hogan. She’s like a money machine, she’s the draw.”

“You know, like you say, I like her in the tag team thing. And maybe that’s one of those things where you never know. Maybe we are shielding her. Maybe we are saving her. But she’s definitely a star. She’s definitely a major star,” Booker T added.

Rhea Ripley is having a great start to her WWE main roster career

Ripley had a very impressive beginning to her WWE main roster career. Even during her time in NXT, time and again, Rhea had proved herself during her matches. She became the inaugural NXT UK Women’s Champion by defeating Toni Storm in the final round.

Soon after that, Ripley challenged Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Champion. On 18th December 2019, in an episode of WWE NXT, Rhea Ripley defeated Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Champion. In 2020, she battled one of the top superstars in WWE, Charlotte Flair. Ripley took on Charlotte for the NXT Championship at WrestleMania 36. Unfortunately, Ripley lost.

Later on, she made the move to the main roster on 22nd March 2021, challenging Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship. In fact, Rhea defeated Asuka at WrestleMania 37 to win the Raw Women’s Championship. But once again, she lost the title to Charlotte Flair at the 2021 Money in the Bank PPV. Since then, the former NXT superstar is involved in a tag team with Nikki A.S.H. The duo just recently lost their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Carmella and Zelina Vega.

But it might not be too long before we see Ripley once again competing in singles matches and headline WrestleMania. She is surely one superstar to watch out for in the future.
