Recently, another female WWE Superstar found herself in deep waters after she was caught making a controversial statement. Earlier this month, former NXT Women’s Champion, Mandy Rose, was let go by WWE, after she breached her WWE Contract.

Mandy Rose was found breaching her contract and selling her exclusive photos online. WWE found themselves in a tough position and decided to release Rose after stripping her off the title. Recently, the company again saw trouble, when Lacey Evans made controversial statements on autism.

Evans had recently shared a story on her Instagram stories, a clip of a conspiracy theory from “Critical Health News.com”, where two men were found sitting and speaking about the legitimacy of autism. As per them, developmental disabilities did not exist before.

However, after Evans shared the story on her Instagram, she found herself in hot water, as people online started cancelling out her. She would later take to Twitter to justify her actions. Evans claimed that she shared the story after finding out what processed food what was doing to the children. She would later delete the post.

Evans is currently experiencing a repackage of her character, and fans can expect her to come back to the ring next week.

WWE Fans react to Lacey Evans’ controversial take on autism

Autism is a sensitive topic, and being a public figure, one has to have an even more sensitive approach to it. With the latest firing of Mandy Rose, WWE Fans were hyped up and thought about bringing Rose justice by firing Evans.

Although, such a thing did not take place. Instead, Twitter started trending with #FireLaceyEvans. WWE is yet to act on this, and Evans is expected to return next week.

Fans were questioning WWE’s authenticity after they kept promoting Lacey Evans even after her approach on autism.

While others were loathing the fact that Evans herself works for special needs children’s charity.

WWE fans started comparing between Rose and Evans, and if what Rose did was worth getting fired for.

However, being a public figure is never easy, and one has to always please the masses for moving forward. However, Evans got on the audience’s wrong side, and this costed her fanbase. While already on massive heat, a heel return would work for her perfectly now.
