A marvelous thing about WWE weekly episodes is that they feature rematches from PPVs. This means that the excitement of clashes does not end at said PPVs. Now, Karrion Kross and Finn Balor will bring the NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver rematch to NXT in two weeks.

The NXT episode: May 11th, 2021 featured a segment between Kross and Balor where the former champion challenged the current champion, and Kross accepted.

In fact, The Prince challenged the current champion right after Karrion Kross defeated Austin Theory in a dominating fashion in a non-title match. This was Kross’ way of sending a message to the locker room about his dominance on the NXT roster, but Balor did not stand down.

The Superstars will collide in a championship rematch in 14 days.

The last time they wrestled at NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver, it was a physically dominating match. Both of them showed great valor and skills. However, it was Kross who emerged with the title.

Finn Balor disappeared from NXT after his defeat

The Prince took a hiatus from WWE NXT after TakeOver: Stand and Deliver. The WWE Universe started wondering what was going on, and if Balor had quit WWE.

However, he put out a message some time ago. Balor, who let the fans know he was feeling much better, revealed that he would return to NXT in a week.

However, with the latest announcement, it’s clear that Balor will stay at NXT, at least for the next two weeks. He may move to the main roster afterward, but for now, he will grace the NXT ring with his excellent in-ring skills.

It should be noted that Balor has already had his run on the main roster in 2016. He started out at WWE Raw, where he defeated Roman Reigns on his first night. At SummerSlam 2016, he defeated Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship. Unfortunately, as he suffered a shoulder injury, he had to give up the title and take a break to heal the shoulder.

When he returned, he didn’t find the same success as his debut year and soon moved back to NXT.
