The company changed their Twitter name from WWE to BIG E IS WWE CHAMPION. While the company has always changed display pictures and banner pictures of the social media profile to commemorate champions, changing the Twitter name is a first! That’s how BIG this victory is.

Big E won the WWE Championship after announcing his plans

The new WWE Champion did not cash in his Money in the Bank contract as a surprise move. He announced it on social media before the show started, and he put Orton and Lashley on notice during the show as well.

Therefore, it’s not that The Almighty did not know that E wouldn’t cash in, he probably didn’t think that Big E would go through with it. However, he did and now he’s the Champion!

What’s next for the WWE Champion?

Considering the title he is holding, he should be working with Raw. However, on paper he will still be listed as a SmackDown Superstar.

The reason he could challenge the WWE Champion is that he was holding the Money in the Bank briefcase. As a rule, anyone holding the Money in the Bank contract can challenge any champion throughout WWE in their division.
