Former NFL Punter Reveals His First Conversation with John Cena: “Ferdinand’s a F**king Banger”

Everyone has their own stories of the first time they met John Cena. However, Pat McAfee’s story could definitely be one in the top ten. During a virtual conversation with John Cena, McAfee detailed the first time he met him.

“There was an NXT event I was at with Michael Cole. It was one of my first times. You walked in and I was sitting in a comfortable chair. You sat behind me with a bad chair. And, I said ‘woah woah I should not be here’, so I go to get up like ‘do you want this seat?’ And you’re like ‘no no, sit down’. I literally said ‘Hey, Ferdinand’s a f**king banger’.”

Ferdinand is an animated movie about a soft-hearted bull who escaped from Casa del Toro just to come back to the same place. John Cena voiced Ferdinand in the movie, and it was a terrific hit among children and adults as well!

John Cena is working on a rigorous Hollywood schedule

Since taking a break from WWE following SummerSlam 2021, The Champ has focused all his energy on Hollywood. He has signed deals for new movies, made red carpet appearances, released movies, and engaged in other work revolving around Hollywood.

One of the projects he focused on was the series – The Peacemaker. He first played the role of The Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad. When the audience showered praise and admiration on John Cena for the role, he was offered an individual series for the same.

This is the first time Cena is making a series based on his individual character. Considering his schedule, it does not seem like he will come back to WWE anytime soon.

Could The Champ be at Royal Rumble 2022?

As of this moment, the popular notion is that he will not be at Royal Rumble 2022. He may watch the event, but he won’t be participating in it.
