Former NXT Champion Gets Engaged to Long-Time Girlfriend After WWE Raw

Former NXT Champion Karrion Kross and his on-screen manager Scarlett Bordeaux are engaged. The news broke when Kross’ long-time girlfriend took to Twitter and uploaded a picture of her wearing the engagement ring.

Back in NXT, Scarlett was a major part of Karrion Kross’ gimmick and the crowd just loved her presence in the ring beside Kross. However, since his main roster call-up, Kross is making his entrance alone and Scarlett is nowhere to be seen.

Kross and Scarlett have been together in a relationship for quite some time now. And now, they are officially engaged.

“Pop the champagne! #Isaidyes @WWEKarrionKross,” wrote Scarlett.

Karrion Kross is having a weird run on WWE Raw

Karrion Kross was undefeated for over a year before he made his debut for the Red Brand of WWE, and was portrayed as a dominant champion on the Black and Gold brand.

However, things took an odd turn when Kross debuted on Monday Night Raw. What seemed like a new promising start for Kross turned into a disaster for the former NXT Champion.

Kross was defeated in his debut match in less than two minutes against his opponent, Jeff Hardy. The decision to book Kross in such a way attracted a lot of backlash from the WWE Universe.

Soon, he lost against a returning Keith Lee and lost his NXT title to Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver. Now, Kross’ gear has also attracted a ton of negative reviews.

WWE Hall of Famer and Hardcore legend, Mick Foley, has been very vocal about the current situation of Kross and is worried that WWE is not doing a good job in justifying his character.

However, Kross still cuts promos where he promises he would devour anyone who will cross his path. And since then he is simply defeating jobbers on the main roster.
