Former NXT Superstar Plays Monopoly to Commemorate WWE Firing

WWE once again shook the wrestling world as it released various superstars from the company. It is another sad day for WWE fans as superstars from NXT, SmackDown, and RAW got released.
Recently, WWE released many superstars due to budget cuts and the pandemic. Recently, former NXT Superstar Franky Monet also got released. She posted a story on her Instagram playing Monopoly after getting fired. It’s been a tough time where, once again, WWE had to release many superstars.
Among the released superstars were Keith Lee, Karrion Kross, Franky Monet, B-Fab, Oney Lorcan, Bray Wyatt, Nia Jax, Ember Moon, and many others.

This is not the first time WWE has released a dozen superstars. During the pandemic, WWE released many potential superstars like Aleister Black, Andrade, Rusev, AOP, Matt Hardy, The Revival, and many more.
What’s next for NXT?
Recently, WWE rebranded NXT as NXT 2.0, where they included many new talents in the company. New talents from the performance center had lined up and shown their potential on NXT 2.0.

Last week, NXT’s Halloween Havoc event proved to be a great watch with new title faces. The triple threat ladder match for the NXT tag team titles was beyond imagination. It was a hardcore match between the female superstars fighting for the tag team golds. Toxic Attraction’s Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin won the tag team titles whereas Mandy Rose defeated NXT’s champ Raquel Gonzalez to become the new champion.
The men’s tag team titles got a new face, with Imperium defeating MSK. Tomasso Ciampa also retained his NXT Title pinning Bron Breakker. In the recent episode of NXT 2.0, Solo Sikoa made his debut.

Many talented wrestlers like Keith Lee and Karrion Kross were a dominant part of WWE’s main roster. And their release might be another reason for the downfall of WWE right now. The company is facing stiff competition from AEW and if they don’t bring back the pace in the storylines to keep the fans engaged, they might lose their fans.
