In the past two years, Vince McMahon has let go or released a major part of his roster. They released some superstars as part of budget cuts and some left because of WWE not coming on the same page while settling a contract.

Cesaro is one superstar who left the company because of a contract dispute. However, superstars like AJ Styles and former Universal Champion Kevin Owens signed back with the company.

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg also didn’t sign a new contract after he wrestled his last match with WWE at Elimination Chamber. Very few superstars have directly gone to Vince McMahon and settled their new contract.

Owens said, “I mean WWE really didn’t let me think about it much in terms of. They made it clear they wanted me to stay”

Owens also added, “No Vince McMahon, I dealt with Vince directly and he made it clear. He wanted me to stay we made an agreement right then and there.”

Kevin Owens did what he thought was best for him. He talked to Vince McMahon, which was the best thing he did to be clear on all terms. We have also seen it in the past that if one talks with Vince directly, they have a contract with no disputes or leave the company on good terms.
