Ever since Triple H took the reins of the creative from Vince McMahon, he became the catalyst for change. For starters, he rehired most talents that Vince McMahon refused to put stock into. The Chief Content Officer also utilized his talents more efficiently. However, he may have failed to capitalize on one faction that is left out in the cold, The Brawling Brutes.

The Sheamus-led faction includes Butch(Pete Dunne) and Ridge Holland. Although Butch has qualified to be in the Money in the Bank match in the upcoming premium live event, The Brawling Brutes hasn’t received the push it deserves as a faction according to Sheamus.

The Brawling Brutes was formed in 2021. At the time, Vince McMahon was in full control of the creative. But, after Triple H took control, the future looked great for many stars, except The Brawling Brutes. While The Celtic Warrior is already a well-established star, he has the desire to reach his full potential with his faction.

While speaking with Metro, the former World Champion took shots at WWE for not giving a direction to The Brawling Brutes. In all fairness, The Brawling Brutes have not been involved in any storylines lately. He said, “I just don’t think they’ve really capitalized on the group. I don’t think they’ve really let us show what we can do. This stop/start stuff is really hard when you’re trying to highlight young talent.”

Sheamus further pointed out that Brawling Brutes still await a push, as other factions are already being used. Expressing his frustrations, he added, “It’s frustrating, you know? So I dunno [sic], maybe we’ll get an opportunity to show what we can really do as a group because a lot of those other groups who are out there now have definitely got an opportunity that we haven’t had to do some storyline stuff, some character stuff.”

Although it seems like Brawling Brutes are being underwhelmin ly used, they are positioned way better than Top Dolla’s Hit Row

Sheamus and Ridge Holland dominated most of the match by knocking off four teams. One of the high points of the match was when Sheamus took out Top Dolla in under 10 seconds.

However, Brawling Brutes fell short against Pretty Deadly in their final match. During the closing stages of the match, Prince blind-tagged himself unbeknownst to Sheamus, who was going to work on Wilson. After hitting Sheamus with a leg drop from the top rope, Pretty Deadly emerged victorious.
