He may have a point. It appears that any time a Superstar retires, they return for another match or another title run.
When did Nikki Bella and Brie Bella retire from WWE?
Nikki Bella announced her official retirement from the ring during the season finale of Total Bellas.
“I just feel like I’m too old for that travel. So I realized like, why am I doing this — I don’t feel good. I really am ready to hang up the jersey. Like, I can say it fully.”
Brie Bella announced she would be retiring the same year on another episode of Total Bellas.
The twins hint towards their return on two occasions
Recently, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella hinted towards their possible return to WWE. The sisters appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show virtually and revealed their return plans to host Mario Lopez.
“When I heard about Dallas 2022, Hollywood 2023, I got chills. And I said, ‘Brie, we have never gone after the tag titles.’ They were made for us. There’s another run in the Bella twins, ” said Nikki Bella.
This is not the first time that Nikki Bella and Brie Bella have expressed their desire to compete for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. Earlier in 2020, on WWE’s The Bump, the sisters revealed they would not turn down the chance to go up against former tag team champs Sasha Banks and Bayley.
“We would love to go against Sasha Banks and Bayley. That would be incredible. To be able to fight them for the tag titles, especially what they are doing on TV right now, it’s just brilliant. It’s great,” Brie Bella said.
