Former WWE Champion Names Roman Reigns as His Dream Opponent Before Retirement

WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy is quite popular with the WWE Universe. He’s worked interesting storylines, brutal matches, and it’s been quite the roller coaster for the Superstar. However, there’s still one Superstar he wants to fight, and that is Roman Reigns.

The former champion revealed that has all intentions of taking on the current champion before his retirement. Considering both of them are brilliant Superstars, this will be an interesting match to watch.

Fans are displeased with WWE made Jeff Hardy do

On an episode of SmackDown, Jeff Hardy was seen chasing 24/7 Champion Reginald, along with Shelton Benjamin and other Superstars.

The WWE Universe expressed their fury over the situation and revealed that the company needed to stop putting Hardy in such comical segments. The fans believe Jeff Hardy is capable of much more, and has potential to work in interesting storylines that show off the type of high-end Superstar he is.

Roman Reigns is currently in a storyline with Finn Balor

It may be a while before Jeff Hardy gets his dream match. Currently, Reigns is in a storyline with Finn Balor. The Prince has been wanting a chance at The Universal Championship for a while now.

Balor could have been the challenger at SummerSlam 2021 but John Cena interfered and signed his own name on the contract. Hence, when SummerSlam 2021 ended with Reigns continuing his time as Universal Champion, Balor confronted him.

The Prince revealed he would deal with Cena later, but first he challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship title. He tried to coax The Tribal Chief into accepting the challenge by attacking The Usos. Finally, a match was set – Finn Balor and Roman Reigns will face off at WWE Extreme Rules 2021.

Considering both of them are Superstars of potential, it’s possible this is when Roman Reigns is finally dethroned. However, the ruthless Tribal Chief will bring ultimate viciousness to the ring. The question is – Can Finn Balor survive that?
