Other rumors indicated that this mystery lady could be Carmella. ‘The Princess of Staten Island’ was last seen on SmackDown in April, defeating Mandy Rose.

Carmella wasn’t in any intense or high profile rivalry since losing her women’s title. In fact, she spent her last few months in a comedic partnership with R Truth.

A look back at Kelly Kelly’s history in the WWE

Kelly Kelly may be only 33-years-old but she is a veteran and a pioneer in her own right. She joined ECW at the tender age of 19.

In her late teenage years, Kelly Kelly was capturing hearts with two other performers in the Extreme Expose. Within two years, she was drafted to Raw on the main roster.

Sadly, the company always saw Kelly Kelly as more of an eye candy. For almost three years (2008-2011), she would job to other Superstars or accompany guest stars on Raw.

She got her wrestling break in the year 2011. On the June 20, 2011, edition of Monday Night Raw, Kelly defeated Brie to win her first-ever Divas Championship. Post that, she had many successful title defenses against Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix and future WWE legends like Brie Bella.

The former Divas champion made many sporadic appearances in the WWE. For instance, she participated in the 2018 and 2020 women’s Royal Rumble. Interestingly, she also won the  24/7 championship on the Raw reunion episode.
