Vince McMahon’s retirement is still a talk in the town of pro wrestling. The Big Man has been with the company for 40 years. McMahon has worked with many exceptional talents, from musicians to content creators. Daddy Mac had always found ways to get individuals with exceptional abilities to his promotion.

One of those exceptional talents that McMahon once added to WWE was Jimmy Hart. Hart was known for his management skills and, during his time, he managed over a dozen superstars like The Honky Tonk Man, Bret Hart, and Jim Neidhart. Hart is also a composer who wrote more than 20 entrance songs for the WWE wrestlers.

Jimmy Hart considers that McMahon had a big hand in his successful career. While speaking with the MackMania podcast, Hart spoke about Vince McMahon. “He put food on our table for a long, long, long time. He gave me a break for the big time – up in New York City – I’ll always be grateful for that.”

Hart, who was also known as Mouth of The South during his initial day in WWE, also explained how Mr. McMahon’s persona affected him. “He was always uptempo. His suits were pressed, his tie was in place, his hair was styled out. He was always a picture of success. It made you feel like you wanted to do better. To me, he was great. He always encouraged me. However, while talking about the retirement of Vince McMahon in an interview with Wrestling Inc. The Mouth of The South stated that it will not affect the company.

“It’s another part of history. I was part of history at WrestleMania one, I was part of history at Summer slam number one. And it’s just another part of history. Everything moves on. I’ve always said before that this company always kept rock and rolling. The Hulk came and went, Stone Cold came and went, The Rock came and went, John Cena came and went. And all of a sudden, it’s still going strong, bigger and better than ever, so it just keeps on evolving. I’m sure it’s going to be the same thing,” said Hart.

Now that Triple H has taken the charge of the WWE, and the fans are loving the new product, it seems like what Hart said is accurate. Hart is still in a contract with the company and has been an essential part of the WWE universe, even at the age of 79.
