WWE Superstar Riddick Moss returned to WWE SmackDown: September 24th, 2021. He has already made an alliance while hinting at his first rival.

Riddick Moss returned during Baron Corbin’s segment. On WWE SmackDown, Baron Corbin introduced his talk show segment, Happy Talk. His first guest was himself. However, he was interrupted by Kevin Owens who wanted to avenge himself for the previous SmackDown.

Before Owens could actually do something, Moss appeared out of nowhere and attacked Owens. Baron Corbin joined Moss in beating Owens, and finished him off with a double chokeslam on the steel steps.

The duo stood over Kevin Owens as the segment came to an end.

It seems like the returning Moss will continue his alliance with Baron Corbin, and WWE could possible book a 2-on- handicap match for the trio.

Riddick Moss took a break from the ring due to an injury

Moss’ last WWE appearance prior to SmackDown was at WWE Main Event where he took down Erik from The Viking Raiders. Unfortunately, he suffered a torn ACL, and had to take a break in September 2020.

Technically, he returned September 17th, but was working on dark matches.

Prior to the injury, Riddick Moss was the WWE 24/7 Champion from February 10th, 2020 to March 22nd. He made his main roster debut in 2014.

If Moss has aligned himself with Baron Corbin, this could be the possible beginning of a new storyline. Of course, Owens is the rival here and if nothing else, Owens will face Moss and Corbin by himself.

Otherwise, WWE can find a partner for Owens as well. Following that, it could become a tag team match where the Owens vs Corbin storyline moves up a level.

It’s unknown how far WWE is planning to stretch Corbin and Owens’ storyline. If all goes good, it could potentially be up to a point where one of them gets involved in a title run.

So far there’s no announcement or evidence backed prediction about what’s going to happen. Nevertheless, Moss’ return will play a huge role in the growing feud between Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens.
